Overview
Enish is a Nigerian restaurant centred around high-quality, authentic cuisine,
delivered within a relaxed and contemporary dining environment.

The brief was to develop a brand identity that could reflect this balance honouring the richness of Nigerian food culture while presenting it in a way that felt modern, accessible, and scalable across multiple locations.
The Challenge
The identity needed to navigate a subtle but important balance:

• While aligning with a cleaner, more contemporary restaurant aesthetic

The key balance rested on:
Creating an identity that gives space for expressing cultural authenticity while supporting a modern, scalable brand experience?

Approach
I developed a visual identity centred around clarity, balance, and longevity.
• Designed a refined wordmark and brand mark that felt contemporary while maintaining a sense of character
• Focused on a clean, structured aesthetic to reflect the restaurant’s modern
interior and atmosphere
• Avoided overly decorative elements to ensure the identity remained versatile and easy to apply across different environments

The intention was to create a system that felt:

Outcome
The identity has been successfully implemented across multiple restaurant locations, and continues to support the brand as it expands both within London and internationally, notably Dubai.
